History: Olivers Pond, also known as Kenney’s Pond, is a Massachusetts Great Pond, and part of the Six Ponds Resource Management Initiative of the Harwich Conservation Trust (harwichconservationtrust.org/protecting-a-hidden-gem-six-ponds-resource-management-initiative/).  Olivers Pond is unusual in that its shoreline is completely protected by conservation holdings.  The pond is clear with a shallow wooded bank.  There is a small wetland at the eastern end and a long-abandoned cranberry bog at the west end.  The surrounding Olivers Pond Wildlife Management Area is home to a variety of endangered flora and fauna.  The 0.88-mile Olivers Pond Hiking Trail off Seth Whitefield Road loops around the pond.
