History:  Littlefield Pond is a small kettle pond with a shallow shoreline that slopes gradually to a deep area northeast of the center.  It is surrounded by pine-oak woodland except for the southern shoreline which hosts the Cape Cod Fish and Game Association grounds, formerly a Boy Scout camp.  The pond is named for the Littlefield family who once owned land in the area.  The pond is now used for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.  The Fish and Game Association hosts fishing contests for its members.
