History: Okers Pond is a small, shallow wetland off Martha’s Lane. It is a certified vernal pool with an abundance of wildlife, including birds, frogs, turtles, snakes, small mammals and coyotes. Spring peepers are especially abundant. Surrounded by private houses and dense thickets, the pond can be viewed from Martha’s Lane.
