History: Round Pond is a small, relatively deep kettle pond on the border of Harwich and Brewster.  On the Harwich side, the pond is surrounded by private residences, with a steep slope through woodlands and thickets to the pond shoreline.  On the Brewster side, the Brewster Conservation Trust owns a significant portion of the land and has incorporated it into the Punkhorn Parklands.  The pond freezes in the winter and is a favorite local ice skating destination.
