History: Jack’s Pond is a small, shallow kettle pond named after John “Jack” Snow, a 17th century descendant of Mayflower passengers, who lived at the pond’s shore and was well- respected in the area.  The pond has a grassy shoreline and sandy bottom.  Private houses surround it completely and there is no public access.
