History:  Grassy Pond is a small, shallow kettle pond located on the border of Harwich and Brewster.  It is surrounded by private houses.  Its shoreline is comprised of pine-oak woodlands.  Residents enjoy canoeing, fishing and wildlife viewing year-round.  Residents also ice skate and ice fish due to regular freezing of the pond in winter.  Deer are frequently seen at the shoreline.
