Take the HPC Pond Pledge!

The HPC Pond Pledge is a household commitment that enables us to become better stewards of our pond and environment.

  1. REGULARLY MAINTAIN SEPTIC AND SUPPORT SEWERING : I commit to having my septic tank pumped every 2 to 3 years and to support town sewering efforts.
  2. USE MORE ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING PRODUCTS : I commit to decreasing or eliminating phosphate-containing cleaning products.
  3. EMBRACE CAPE-FRIENDLY LAWN AND LANDSCAPING : I will include more native plants and trees, minimize invasive species, minimize landscape watering and avoid using fertilizer and pesticides.

HPC supporters/members can sign onto the Pond Pledge and also purchase a Pond Pledge yard sign for $20. The sign is printed on a durable 10-inch-by-12-inch aluminum panel and comes mounted to a three-foot green metal stake.

Please provide your street address if you are ordering a yard sign (local addresses only, please.)
